Realm
Crossing is a physiological fantasy/horror that is for an audience looking for mind stimulation. This dark novel
is filled with fighting and dramatic events that will leave you reading well
into the night. In this story we meet multiple
characters from demons, demon hunters and nephilim, and all connect to different
realms that the story passes through. The book is written in different points
of view from a variety of characters; this type of writing helps show, not only
what happens to the main characters, but how it affects those around them.
There is the fundamental
theme of good versus evil but at different points in the story the line is
blurred and the moral compass of some characters are put into question. One aspect I enjoyed was the background information
given to each character. If a character is bad then Zack Kullis gives the
history as to why he/she is capable of such horrible things. By doing this, I found
myself questioning if I would not do those same things.
Realm
Crossing takes the reader on an emotional journey from start to finish. The detail
within this book is exceptional and makes you feel you are off to the side
watching it unfold in front of your eyes. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart and would be an
amazing read for those looking for a fresh take on the dark side of fantasy.
