My thoughts
I love a good romance story and
that is what Tia Dani has delivered in Time’s
Enduring Love. It is a story filled with love and learning how to cope with
your life when it has been flipped upside down.
From the begining I could not help
but love the firecracker like personality of Libby Strammon. She might be young
but she is fierce and nothing is going to hold her back from becoming a doctor.
Her independence and belief in herself sets her apart from the other woman in
the 1960’s. But, when she is taken back a hundred years, she finds herself dealing
with more obstacles than she could have imagined, and has to learn to how to
overcome them. Her spirit and tenacity
are the qualities that drive Lieutenant Matthew Dome crazy when he meets Libby.
Being a Lieutenant in the Kansas
Volunteers, Matthew is used to being in charge, and needless to say, finding
the headstrong Libby Strammon throws his life into a tail spin. Matthew and
Libby have an instant spark but he struggles to move forward when he is haunted
by a childhood trauma. Along the way these two fight then make up often,making
for one bumpy ride. Matthew’s loyalty might be his most endearing characteristic
but it might also be one of his down falls. Will he be able to let go of the
past or will he lose the love of his life?
Time’s
Enduring Love is incredibly beautiful and will make you believe anything is
possible. There were moments I wanted to smile and moments I had tears swelling
in my eyes. This would be a great read for any book club as you will want to review
each event as it unfolds. I would highly recommend this book to any one who is
looking for a story that will leave you breathless.
